Appointed Culinary Director at Nordic Food Bar for Expo 2025 Osaka

I'm incredibly excited and proud to announce that I'll be curating the menu at the Nordic Food Bar in the Nordic Pavilion during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring my passion for sustainable Nordic-Japanese gastronomy back to its Japanese roots.
My culinary journey began in Gothenburg, Sweden, where my love for combining Nordic ingredients with Japanese flavors and techniques was born. Since 2007, I've dedicated myself to introducing and refining this unique fusion, which has earned me recognition such as the White Guide’s prestigious "Rising Star of the Year" award.
As Culinary Director for TAK and UNN restaurants in Stockholm, I've spent several years developing concepts that blend Nordic ingredients with Japanese culinary methods. This commitment to sustainability and innovation is something I'll now carry forward to Expo 2025 Osaka.
Throughout my time as an MSC ambassador (2018–2021), I have advocated for sustainable seafood, an essential element of my culinary philosophy.
My ambition for the Nordic Food Bar is to offer a menu that highlights the very best of the Nordics, with a distinct Japanese twist. I aim to create a gastronomic experience where sustainability, creativity, and exciting flavor combinations take center stage.
